Job Title: TradeConnect Foreign Affairs Officer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated TradeConnect Foreign Affairs Officer to join our team. As a Foreign Affairs Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with international partners, representing our company in global trade negotiations, and facilitating trade agreements between countries. This is a key role in our organization and requires an individual who is passionate about international trade and has a strong understanding of global economics and politics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with international partners, including government officials, trade organizations, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent our company in trade negotiations, ensuring that our interests are effectively communicated and represented.
• Stay updated on global trade policies and regulations, and provide strategic advice to the company on how to navigate these changes.
• Facilitate trade agreements between countries, working closely with our legal team to ensure all agreements are compliant with international trade laws.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential trade opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to identify and address any trade-related issues or challenges.
• Plan and coordinate international trade events, such as trade missions and exhibitions, to promote our company and its products/services.
• Stay updated on political and economic developments in key regions, and advise the company on how these may impact our international trade operations.
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the global trade community to stay on top of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in international trade, with a focus on trade negotiations and agreements.
• Strong knowledge of global trade policies and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience in conducting market research and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
