Position: Security Team Lead

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Lead to join our dynamic and growing team. As the Security Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's security operations, ensuring the protection of our assets, employees, and customers. You will lead a team of security professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of security professionals to ensure the safety and security of the company's assets, employees, and customers.
• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and threats.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing remediation plans as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of security efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Conduct regular training and drills for the security team to ensure preparedness for emergency situations.
• Manage the budget for security operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on security incidents, trends, and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing security strategies and policies.
• Excellent knowledge of security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarms.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security operations.
