Job Title: Ground Transportation Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ground Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a Ground Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of ground transportation services for our company. This includes coordinating transportation for employees and clients, negotiating rates with transportation vendors, and ensuring the timely and safe arrival of all individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors to ensure the best rates and services for our company
• Coordinate ground transportation for employees and clients, including scheduling and arranging for pick-up and drop-off
• Monitor transportation schedules and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely arrivals
• Communicate with clients to confirm transportation arrangements and address any issues or concerns
• Collect and maintain all necessary documentation for ground transportation, including insurance and licensing information for vendors
• Monitor transportation expenses and provide cost analysis reports to management
• Create and maintain a database of transportation vendors and their services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations related to ground transportation
• Assist with the development and implementation of transportation policies and procedures
• Handle any issues or emergencies related to ground transportation in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ground transportation coordination or management
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of regulations and safety standards related to ground transportation is preferred
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
