Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a neutral third-party mediator to facilitate discussions and negotiations between conflicting parties
Conduct initial intake and assessment of cases to determine the nature of the dispute and the best approach for mediation
Create a safe and productive environment for all parties involved in the mediation process
Utilize active listening and conflict resolution techniques to identify underlying issues and facilitate productive discussions
Guide parties towards reaching a mutually beneficial and satisfactory resolution
Prepare and review mediation agreements and ensure all parties understand and agree to the terms
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all mediation proceedings
Collaborate with legal teams and other professionals involved in the mediation process
Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry trends related to mediation
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance mediation skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Psychology, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mediator
Proven track record of successfully resolving disputes and conflicts through mediation
Strong understanding of mediation principles, techniques, and processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to remain neutral and impartial in highly emotional situations
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work under pressure
Certification in mediation or conflict resolution preferred
