Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and effective educational programs that align with our company's goals and objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create engaging and relevant curriculum materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research in the field of education and identify current trends and best practices to incorporate into curriculum design
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning objectives and determine the appropriate instructional strategies and content for each course
• Develop and design course outlines, lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments that are aligned with the learning objectives
• Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create high-quality, interactive and engaging learning experiences
• Use a variety of media and technology to enhance learning, such as videos, simulations, interactive activities, and online resources
• Apply adult learning principles to ensure that the curriculum is effective for diverse learners
• Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the curriculum
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and instructional design techniques to enhance the quality of our curriculum
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the company's branding and marketing strategies
• Work with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Provide training and support to instructors and other team members on the effective use of curriculum materials
• Participate in professional development opportunities and conferences to continuously enhance skills and knowledge in curriculum development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or corporate setting
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles
• Experience with e-learning platforms and authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for education and a desire to continuously improve and innovate in curriculum design
