Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastics Production Manager to oversee our plastics manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics production, with a proven track record of managing a team and meeting production targets. The Plastics Production Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the plastics production process, from raw material intake to final product packaging
• Develop and implement production plans to meet demand and achieve production targets
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure that all production processes comply with safety and quality standards
• Manage and train production staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials for production
• Work closely with the quality control team to identify and resolve any product defects
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new production processes and equipment
• Develop and maintain production budgets and cost-saving initiatives
• Continuously seek ways to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain production records and prepare reports for senior management
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to improve production processes and operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastics production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of plastics production processes, equipment, and materials
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving production efficiency
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in plastics production
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
