Job Title: Database Programming Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Programming Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Database Programming Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions to meet the organization's needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing databases, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance and implementing performance tuning techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement database solutions to improve business processes.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate security measures and data backup strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database programming and development.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing complex database solutions.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
