Job Title: Power Line Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines.
• Operate a variety of equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and line trucks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot power lines to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing poles, insulators, and transformers.
• Respond to emergency calls and work diligently to restore power during outages.
• Conduct safety inspections and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge through training and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Power Line Technician program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Power Line Worker.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Physically fit and able to work at great heights and in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
