Position: Adventure Guide

Job Description: Are you a thrill-seeker with a passion for the outdoors? Do you love sharing your knowledge and experiences with others? If so, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an Adventure Guide to join our team and lead exciting outdoor expeditions for our clients.As an Adventure Guide, you will be responsible for planning and leading a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and more. You will act as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic leader, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our clients while also educating them about the local area and its natural wonders.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize outdoor adventures for groups of varying sizes and skill levels
• Conduct thorough research and risk assessments to ensure the safety of all activities
• Lead and supervise outdoor activities, providing guidance and instruction to clients
• Educate clients about the local environment, wildlife, and history of the area
• Ensure all necessary equipment is properly maintained and available for use
• Monitor weather conditions and make necessary changes to the itinerary as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues that may arise
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, serving as a role model for clients
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve and expand our adventure offerings
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Adventure Guide or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, etc.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate groups
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations
• Current first aid and CPR certifications
• A love for the outdoors and a desire to share that passion with others
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physically fit and able to endure long days of physical activity in varying weather conditions
