Position: Data Security Compliance Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Security Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Data Security Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our organization's data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, monitor, and enforce data security policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in our data systems
• Develop, implement, and maintain data security policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure our data systems are secure and compliant with internal and external standards
• Monitor and analyze data security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data security trends, threats, and regulations
• Conduct training sessions for employees on data security policies and best practices to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for data systems
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to data security policies, procedures, and audits
• Communicate with stakeholders on data security issues, risks, and compliance status
• Assist in the implementation of data security controls and tools to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data security and compliance
• Strong knowledge of data security regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001
• Experience in conducting security audits and assessments
• Excellent understanding of data security tools and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
