Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop new machinery and equipment to meet production needs and improve efficiency
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new machinery projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure machinery designs meet all safety, quality, and performance standards
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on existing machinery to identify and troubleshoot any issues
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality of machinery
Manage projects related to machinery upgrades and installations, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with external vendors
Train and mentor junior engineers on machinery operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machinery technology to continuously improve our processes and equipment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
Experience with project management and budgeting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel for project-related tasks
