Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the go-to person for all wine and spirits related inquiries from customers and team members
Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations based on their preferences
Maintain a strong understanding of our wine and spirits inventory, including the different types, regions, and producers
Conduct tastings and events to educate customers about various wines and spirits, as well as promote new products
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to customers
Collaborate with the purchasing team to select and order new products to add to our inventory
Train and educate team members on wine and spirits knowledge and best practices
Ensure that all products are properly stocked and displayed, and that the store is clean and organized at all times
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state alcohol laws and regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, preferably in a retail setting
Thorough knowledge of different types of wines and spirits, including production, regions, and tasting notes
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong sales skills and the ability to make recommendations based on customer needs
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
Proficient in using various computer systems and applications
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain a liquor license
Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required
