About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biotechnology Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our research and development department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our biotechnology products from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotechnology, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of scientists and researchers in the development of biotechnology products.
• Develop and implement product development strategies and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential product opportunities and make recommendations for new product development.
• Oversee the design, planning, and execution of experiments and trials to test product efficacy and safety.
• Analyze data and present findings to senior management, providing recommendations for further development or improvements.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure products are in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as contract research organizations and academic institutions, to support product development efforts.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for product development.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of patent applications to protect intellectual property.
• Mentor and train team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in biotechnology product development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of biotechnology principles and techniques.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing biotechnology products from concept to commercialization.
• Experience with project management and budget management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for biotechnology products is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
