Position: Building Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As the Building Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings, ensuring they are safe, functional, and aesthetically appealing. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating their schedules and assigning tasks to ensure timely completion of all maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all buildings within our organization, including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure the continuous upkeep and functionality of our buildings.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and identify potential maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance projects and ensure they adhere to safety protocols and complete work to our satisfaction.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
• Create and maintain maintenance logs and records, including work orders, inventory, and expenses.
• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in building maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using maintenance software and tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
