Position: Security Officer

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity and possess excellent communication and observation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Perform regular security checks to identify and report any suspicious activities or potential security risks
• Respond to emergencies and alarms, and take appropriate action as per company protocols
• Conduct thorough investigations and write detailed incident reports
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms and respond accordingly
• Control access to the premises by ensuring all visitors and employees have proper identification
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees, clients, and visitors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or law enforcement/military experience preferred
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential security risks
• Proficient in using surveillance and security equipment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
