Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Furniture Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As a Furniture Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of furniture pieces, including but not limited to desks, chairs, shelves, and cabinets, for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow assembly instructions and diagrams to assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications
• Ensure that all furniture is assembled accurately and securely, with proper alignment and stability
• Utilize various hand and power tools to assemble furniture pieces
• Inspect furniture parts for any defects or damages and report to the supervisor if necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
• Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
• Keep track of inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within given timelines
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in furniture assembly
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy furniture pieces
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
