Job Title: Worship Leader

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader to join our team. As the Worship Leader, you will be responsible for leading our congregation in worship services and creating an atmosphere of spiritual connection and inspiration. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of musicians, vocalists, and technical staff to enhance the overall worship experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead worship services that align with the vision and values of the church
• Select and prepare appropriate songs, hymns, and other musical elements for each service
• Lead and direct the worship band and vocalists during rehearsals and services
• Create and maintain a positive and engaging environment for the congregation during worship
• Work closely with the pastoral team to ensure that the worship services complement the sermon series
• Develop and mentor volunteers to serve in the worship team
• Oversee the technical aspects of the worship service including sound, lighting, and multimedia
• Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the worship experience for our congregation
• Attend staff meetings and participate in planning and implementing special events
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and resources in worship music and technology

Qualifications:

• A deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• A strong calling to lead others in worship and a heart for ministry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading worship in a church setting
• Proficient in playing an instrument, preferably guitar or keyboard
• Ability to read and teach music to others
• Strong vocal abilities and experience in leading a worship team
• Skilled in using multimedia and technology to enhance the worship experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and work collaboratively with a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
