Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain audio equipment such as microphones, mixing consoles, and recording devices
Set up and test audio equipment before recording sessions or live events
Record, edit, and mix audio for various projects, including music, podcasts, voiceovers, and sound effects
Collaborate with producers, directors, and artists to achieve desired sound for projects
Troubleshoot technical issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality sound
Stay up-to-date with new audio technologies and techniques to improve production quality
Maintain organized and properly labeled audio files for easy retrieval and post-production
Ensure all audio is mixed to industry standards and meets client expectations
Work with the post-production team to integrate audio with video and other media elements
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized recording studio environment

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Audio Engineer
Proficient in recording, editing, and mixing audio using industry-standard software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live
Knowledge of audio equipment and signal flow
Excellent hearing and sense of pitch and timing
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Passion for music and sound production
