Responsibilities:

Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing data to determine the best distribution methods for electric power

Designing and implementing electrical distribution systems to ensure safe and efficient delivery of electricity to customers

Collaborating with other engineers and team members to develop innovative solutions for distribution challenges

Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards

Conducting site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing distribution infrastructure and identify areas for improvement

Preparing detailed project plans, cost estimates, and timelines for distribution system upgrades and maintenance

Selecting and specifying appropriate equipment, materials, and technologies for distribution system projects

Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of new distribution equipment and systems

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to distribution system performance and reliability

Providing technical support and guidance to field teams and other departments as needed

Staying current with industry developments and advancements in distribution technology to continuously improve processes and systems

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electric distribution engineering

Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD and PLS-CADD

Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, equipment, and components

Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects on time and within budget

Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as needed.
