Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at a leading transportation equipment manufacturing company. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, procurement, and logistics operations for our company. You will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and distributors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key vendors.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Oversee the inventory management process, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
• Develop and maintain transportation and distribution networks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Manage the supply chain budget, tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for process improvements and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the transportation equipment manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, production teams, and distributors.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain operations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
