The Mail Carrier will spend a significant amount of time outdoors, driving and delivering mail. The job may require working in different weather conditions, such as rain, snow, or extreme heat. The role also involves loading and unloading mail trucks, which may require lifting and carrying heavy mail and packages. The Mail Carrier must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mail Carrier. As a Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in delivering mail and packages to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. Your responsibilities will include sorting and organizing mail, loading and unloading mail trucks, and delivering mail to residential and commercial addresses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize mail according to delivery routes
• Load and unload mail trucks with mail and packages
• Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
• Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and post offices
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages
• Follow safety protocols while driving and delivering mail
• Maintain accurate records of mail and packages delivered
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient delivery routes
• Report any issues or delays in mail delivery to the supervisor
• Follow all postal regulations and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of mail and packages
• Proficient in using GPS and mapping software
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays if required
• Knowledge of postal regulations and procedures is a plus
