Job Title: Food and Beverage Director

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage department, including managing the daily operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Food and Beverage Director will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, efficiency, and profitability within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including but not limited to, budget management, inventory control, and staffing
• Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service standards are met
• Collaborate with the executive chef to create and update food and beverage menus
• Conduct regular meetings with the food and beverage team to discuss performance, goals, and areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products are delivered at competitive prices
• Create and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the food and beverage department
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local and federal regulations
• Develop and maintain training programs for food and beverage staff to ensure consistent service standards and product knowledge
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high levels of quality and service
• Stay current with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements and innovations within the food and beverage department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food and beverage management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, best practices, and current technology
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
