Job Title: Livestock Production Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Livestock Production Coordinator to join our team. As the Livestock Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our livestock production operations. This includes managing daily operations, implementing production strategies, and ensuring the health and well-being of our animals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in livestock production, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of our livestock production facilities, including overseeing feeding, breeding, and herd health.
• Develop and implement production strategies to optimize productivity and profitability.
• Monitor and maintain herd health, including identifying and treating any health issues.
• Ensure that all livestock facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in compliance with industry standards.
• Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee the transportation of livestock to and from the production facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activities, including herd health, feed usage, and production outputs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, implementing new techniques and technologies to improve production processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a smooth and successful production process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of both animals and workers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in animal science, agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in livestock production.
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry and herd management techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in record-keeping and data analysis.

Working Environment: As the Livestock Production Coordinator, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
