Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, curriculum design, and instructional technology. The Curriculum Development Specialist will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing curriculum materials that align with state and national standards. This role requires a creative and innovative mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analyze data to identify current trends and best practices in curriculum development.
• Design and develop standards-based curriculum materials for various subject areas and grade levels.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and instructional designers to ensure curriculum materials are accurate, relevant, and engaging.
• Use instructional technology and digital tools to enhance curriculum materials and create interactive learning experiences.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure all curriculum materials meet company standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials through assessments and feedback from teachers and students.
• Provide training and support to teachers on how to effectively use curriculum materials in the classroom.
• Stay updated on changes in educational policies and standards to ensure curriculum materials remain current and relevant.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss curriculum development strategies and provide input on company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of state and national standards and proficiency in aligning curriculum materials to these standards.
• Experience with instructional technology, digital tools, and learning management systems.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
