Location: Newhaventown, Connecticut, United States

Salary: USD: $30,000 - $50,000 annually

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Education Programs to join our team. As the Director of Education Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our education programs, including curriculum development, program implementation, and evaluation. You will work closely with our team of educators, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the success and growth of our education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive education programs that align with our organization's mission and goals
• Oversee the development and maintenance of curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date, engaging, and meets the needs of our target audience
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and secure funding opportunities for our education programs
• Manage and allocate resources, including budget, staff, and volunteers, to support the effective delivery of education programs
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other partners to expand the reach and impact of our education programs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our education programs
• Lead and mentor a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to promote our education programs and build partnerships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and managing education programs, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization
• Experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and project management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven track record of securing funding for education programs through grants, donations, or other sources
• Knowledge of current educational policies, practices, and trends
• Passion for education and commitment to making a positive impact in the community
