Job Title: Scala Developer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using the Scala programming language. You will also be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design and develop robust and scalable software solutions using the Scala programming language
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure the highest level of software quality
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Continuously research and learn new technologies to improve the development process
- Participate in agile development methodologies and actively contribute in team meetings and discussions

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scala Developer or in a similar role
- Strong experience in developing and deploying Scala-based applications
- Proficient in functional programming concepts and object-oriented design principles
- Hands-on experience with Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play, and Spark
- Knowledge of database design and SQL
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence
