Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Airport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all aspects of the airport, including overseeing the day-to-day functions and managing a team of employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of airport operations, including but not limited to airfield operations, terminal operations, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve airport operations, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Manage a team of airport employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including those set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
• Monitor and analyze airport activity, including flight schedules, passenger traffic, and cargo operations, and make adjustments as needed to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and finance, to coordinate and execute airport projects and initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with airlines, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
• Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and security of all airport personnel and passengers.
• Monitor and manage airport budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses, to ensure cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Excellent knowledge of airport regulations and standards, including FAA and TSA regulations.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and airport management software.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
