Merch Magnet Corp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Merchandising Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our company's merchandising strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of all merchandising initiatives to drive sales and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with company goals and objectives
• Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and cohesion in merchandising efforts
• Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities
• Use data insights to make informed decisions on product assortment, pricing, and inventory management
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and turnover rates
• Oversee the visual merchandising of stores and ensure that all displays are attractive, on-brand, and meet company standards
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed
• Develop and manage the merchandising budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Train and supervise merchandising staff and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality execution of merchandising strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Merchandising Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of merchandising principles, strategies, and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
