Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of educational programs and materials. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create high-quality, engaging, and effective curriculum that meets the needs of our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and develop a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, presentations, activities, assessments, and other resources to support the curriculum.
• Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to ensure the curriculum is learner-centered and interactive.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the curriculum and keep it up-to-date.
• Work with the instructional design team to create engaging multimedia content, such as videos, animations, and interactive simulations, to enhance the learning experience.
• Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback from learners to identify areas for improvement and make necessary updates to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure the curriculum meets business needs and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure timely and successful completion of curriculum development projects.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and instructional design methodologies to continuously enhance the curriculum development process.
• Provide training and support to instructors and facilitators to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, making recommendations for improvements and updates as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, theories, and methodologies.
• Experience in developing curriculum for both traditional and online learning environments.
• Proficient in using authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Experience in developing curriculum for a diverse range of topics and audiences is a plus.
