Job Title: Loan Officer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing loan applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the loan industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of loan applications to determine eligibility, creditworthiness, and risk assessment.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of different loan products and services, including government programs, to assist clients in selecting the best option for their needs.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, including gathering necessary documentation, explaining terms and conditions, and answering any questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan applications.
• Monitor and track loan progress, providing regular updates to clients and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all loans are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
• Participate in networking and marketing activities to promote the company's loan products and services.
• Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the banking or financial industry.
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
• Must possess a valid NMLS license.
