Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our data platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide advanced solutions to support their business objectives.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing coaching and guidance to support their professional development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data management, and recommend and implement improvements to our data platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to data platform architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize data platform performance, addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data models and algorithms to support business analytics and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and experience with data platform design, development, and maintenance.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
