About the Job: We are seeking a reliable and organized Postal Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Postal Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail, packages, and other postal materials to designated locations within a specified timeframe. Your duties will also include sorting and organizing mail, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all postal items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a postal delivery vehicle to deliver mail, packages, and other postal materials to designated locations
• Sort and organize mail according to delivery route
• Load and unload postal materials from the delivery vehicle
• Maintain accurate delivery records and collect signatures for proof of delivery
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Handle and resolve any delivery issues or complaints
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any malfunctions or damages
• Follow designated delivery schedules and timelines
• Track and report any undeliverable or returned mail

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or a similar role
• Familiarity with local and state traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy packages
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays if required
