Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of ground transportation services, including scheduling, dispatching, and vehicle maintenance.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and efficiency of ground transportation operations.
Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for transportation services.
Hire, train, and manage a team of transportation staff, providing ongoing coaching and development.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to ground transportation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services with overall business operations.
Develop and manage the ground transportation budget, forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in the ground transportation industry.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
Proficiency in transportation software and systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
