Position: Medical Device Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Device Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Device Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and manufacturing of cutting-edge medical devices that improve the quality of life for patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop medical devices from concept to commercialization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and materials that can enhance the design and functionality of medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, quality engineers, and regulatory affairs to ensure the successful launch of new medical devices.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure that products meet performance and safety requirements.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for medical devices.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product development and manufacturing processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in medical device technology to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device design, development, and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and MDD.
• Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with design verification and validation, risk management, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of bringing medical devices from concept to commercialization.
