Job Title: Dairy Operations Coordinator

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dairy Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dairy farm, ensuring efficient and effective production of high-quality dairy products. You will work closely with our farm manager and other team members to ensure the smooth running of all dairy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of dairy operations, including herd management, milk production, and product quality control.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all dairy processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain herd health and production records, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Manage and schedule the maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with farm manager to develop and implement herd breeding and nutrition programs.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dairy products to customers.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations related to dairy operations.
• Train and supervise dairy farm staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dairy operations management.
• Strong knowledge of dairy farming practices, herd health, and milk production.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
