Job Title: Dairy Processing Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dairy Processing Technician to join our team. As a Dairy Processing Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used in the production of dairy products. Your role will involve ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that the highest level of product quality is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment used in the production of dairy products, such as pasteurizers, separators, homogenizers, and packaging machines
• Monitor and adjust production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards and production targets
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure that they are free from contamination and meet all safety and regulatory requirements
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and quality control checks
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve production processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings
• Train and mentor new team members on equipment operation and production processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical diploma or degree in food science or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dairy processing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with operating and troubleshooting equipment
• Knowledge of food safety and quality control regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
