If so, MailConnect is looking for a Mail Carrier to join our team!As a Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency while adhering to all postal regulations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery according to designated routes and schedules.
• Load and unload mail and packages from delivery trucks and other vehicles.
• Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses using various modes of transportation, such as walking, biking, or driving a delivery vehicle.
• Collect and process outgoing mail and packages from customers.
• Obtain signatures and payments for registered, certified, and insured mail and packages.
• Update delivery status and scan barcodes using electronic devices.
• Report any suspicious or unusual activities to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and submit reports as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating delivery vehicles and handling mail and packages.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness and ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to navigate using maps and GPS devices.
• Familiarity with postal regulations and delivery processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
