Position: Supply Chain Analyst for Consumer Goods

Job Description: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in the consumer goods industry. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and making recommendations to improve our overall supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas of improvement and potential risks
• Develop and maintain supply chain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and innovations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products
• Participate in the development and implementation of new supply chain strategies and initiatives
• Continuously review and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Train and mentor junior supply chain team members on best practices and new technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in the consumer goods industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools such as ERP and inventory management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
• Sound knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills
• Continuous learner with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and innovations
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
