As a Tobacco Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tobacco Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality control checks and tests on all tobacco products and materials to ensure they meet the company's standards and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing any quality control issues or concerns and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control checks and tests on all tobacco products and materials, including raw tobacco, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Ensure that all products and materials meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and document any quality control issues or concerns, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control tests and results.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production, packaging, and research and development, to ensure quality standards are met at all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure that all products and materials are in compliance.
• Train and mentor new employees in quality control procedures and processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality control process.
• Monitor production processes to identify any potential quality control issues and recommend improvements.
• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality control system and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as chemistry, food science, or quality assurance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the tobacco or food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA and ISO.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality control issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other quality control software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
