Position: Global Logistics Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Global Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the global logistics operations of our company, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods and materials across various regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with international carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and distribution centers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment schedules and track the movement of goods to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review and negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
• Manage customs clearance and compliance processes for international shipments.
• Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to provide updates on shipment status and address any issues or delays.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with regulations and industry trends related to international trade and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in global logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally, as needed.
