Position: Director of Nursing Education Programs

Overview: Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing Education Programs to join our team. The Director of Nursing Education Programs will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our nursing education programs, including curriculum development, student recruitment, faculty management, and program evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain nursing education programs that align with current industry standards and meet the needs of our students
• Collaborate with faculty members to design and implement curriculum that promotes critical thinking, clinical competence, and professional development
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing faculty to ensure a high-quality teaching staff
• Create and implement strategies to attract and retain students, including marketing campaigns, open houses, and information sessions
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making necessary changes and improvements to ensure program success
• Maintain accreditation requirements and prepare for accreditation reviews
• Manage the budget for nursing education programs, ensuring financial stability and responsible use of resources
• Foster strong relationships with clinical partners and other stakeholders to promote clinical learning opportunities for students
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in nursing education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into program curriculum
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty members to promote a positive and collaborative work environment
• Support students throughout their educational journey, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing Education or related field, Doctorate preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Current and active nursing license
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and program evaluation
• Experience with accreditation processes and standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Proven track record of program development and success
• Familiarity with current trends and advancements in nursing education
• Passion for promoting excellence in nursing education and student success
