Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a crucial role in the development process by designing and implementing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Identify and report defects, track them to resolution, and verify fixes
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and ensure that all requirements are met
• Continuously improve and optimize the testing process and methodologies
• Provide regular status reports and metrics on testing progress and quality
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and incorporate them into our testing processes
• Mentor and guide junior team members in testing methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a fast-paced development environment
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Experience with testing web-based and mobile applications
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
