Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum materials for our organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design curriculum materials for various subject areas and grade levels
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and content for curriculum development
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current educational trends and best practices
• Create learning objectives and assessments aligned with curriculum goals and standards
• Utilize instructional design principles to design and develop engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Work closely with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate technology and multimedia elements into curriculum materials
• Review and revise curriculum materials based on feedback and evaluation data
• Collaborate with teachers and trainers to ensure curriculum materials are user-friendly and effective
• Participate in meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and provide feedback on curriculum development projects
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of curriculum materials and revisions
• Stay informed of changes in curriculum standards and make necessary updates to curriculum materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices
• Experience with developing curriculum for both traditional and online learning environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and instructional design software
• Knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Experience in project management is a plus
