Job Title: Petroleum Operations Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Petroleum Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the petroleum industry, with a strong background in operations management. As the Petroleum Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our petroleum facilities, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
• Oversee inventory management and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of petroleum products to customers.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including production, safety, and cost analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the petroleum industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of petroleum operations, including drilling, production, transportation, and refining.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Sound understanding of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
