Position: Site Superintendent

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction at our project site. As the Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site activities, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure timely completion of the project
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all workers and visitors
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications
• Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction, and communicate them to the project team in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that materials, equipment, and resources are available as needed
• Review and approve all subcontractor and supplier invoices, and ensure that they are in line with the project budget
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all on-site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and any other relevant documentation
• Communicate regularly with the project owner, providing updates on progress, issues, and any potential delays
• Conduct regular meetings with the project team to review progress, discuss any issues, and ensure that everyone is on the same page

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team of workers
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of construction software and technology is a plus
