Rhythm Renaissance is seeking a highly talented and experienced Music Director to join our team. As a Music Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our musical productions, ensuring the highest level of quality and creativity. You will work closely with our production team to create dynamic and captivating performances that will leave a lasting impression on our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative concepts for musical productions, in collaboration with the production team
• Select and arrange music pieces, including original compositions and existing songs, to fit the theme and tone of the production
• Conduct auditions and select performers for musical roles, ensuring the best match for the production
• Rehearse and train performers, providing guidance and feedback to help them deliver exceptional performances
• Collaborate with choreographers, stage managers, and other production team members to ensure a seamless and cohesive production
• Oversee the musical score, including instrumentation, timing, and transitions, to enhance the overall performance
• Manage the budget for musical productions, including hiring musicians, purchasing music rights, and renting equipment
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new music releases, and emerging talent to bring fresh and innovative ideas to our productions
• Attend rehearsals, performances, and post-show discussions to evaluate and improve future productions
• Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among all production members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in music, performing arts, or related field
• Proven experience as a Music Director in a professional setting, preferably in theater or live performances
• Extensive knowledge of music theory, composition, and arrangement
• Proficiency in playing at least one instrument and conducting musical performances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse personalities and backgrounds
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire performers to deliver their best
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by production schedules
