Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and monitor all aspects of crop production, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to determine crop demand and develop production plans accordingly.
Source and manage the supply of seeds, fertilizers, and other necessary inputs for crop production.
Monitor and maintain crop health by conducting regular field visits and consulting with agronomists.
Manage the scheduling and allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
Maintain accurate records of crop production, expenses, and sales.
Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements in yield and quality.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and overcome production challenges.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Train and supervise farm workers to ensure they follow standard operating procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with research and development team to test and implement new technologies and practices to enhance crop production.
Stay updated with industry trends and market demands to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in crop production, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of crop production techniques, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and farm management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work long hours and travel as needed.
