Position Title: Tobacco Research and Development Scientist

Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Tobacco Research and Development Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Tobacco R&D Scientist, you will play a critical role in the development and improvement of our tobacco products. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance the overall quality of our tobacco products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and experiments to develop new and improved tobacco products, processes, and technologies
• Analyze data and interpret results to assess the quality and performance of tobacco products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to tobacco products
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in tobacco research and development
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to support the research and development of tobacco products
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate the impact of different ingredients, processes, and technologies on the quality and characteristics of tobacco products
• Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to tobacco products
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Mentor and train junior staff members on research methodologies and procedures
• Participate in the development and maintenance of research protocols and procedures
• Contribute to the development of new product concepts and ideas

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tobacco research and development
• Strong understanding of tobacco chemistry and processing
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, and NMR
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to tobacco products
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
