Position: Quality Control Inspector - Machinery Manufacturing

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with experience in the machinery manufacturing industry. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured machinery meets our company's high standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed according to industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality inspections on all machinery components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Record and analyze inspection data, generate reports, and communicate any quality issues or concerns to the production team.
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve production processes.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new product testing and inspection methods.
• Conduct periodic audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
• Train and mentor production team members on quality control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control inspection, preferably in the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools.
• Experience working with precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
