Job Overview: The Automotive Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles produced by AutoCraft Innovations meet the highest quality standards. This individual will oversee the entire quality control process, from the initial stages of production to the final delivery of the vehicles. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure the production of high-quality vehicles that meet customer expectations
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products
• Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of production to identify any defects or issues and take corrective action
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Train and manage a team of quality control inspectors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Analyze data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the vehicles
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in production
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to automotive quality control
• Conduct audits and inspections to identify any non-compliance issues and take corrective action
• Prepare and present reports to upper management on quality control performance, issues, and improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the automotive manufacturing industry
• Extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including assembly, welding, painting, and testing
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, tools, and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and APQP
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards, such as ISO/TS 16949
• Proficient in using quality control software and tools
• Willingness to travel for audits and inspections, if required
